Memorial Moments..(M-square)

I’ve been browsing through LOC camper’s blogs lately..Not that I am stalking..But then to see if there’s any pictures that I can grab..Unfortunately, there isn’t any pictures posted..God’s testing my patience perhaps..haha..Anyhow, I guess I shall post without pictures this time..

Since I am too free to blog right now, I would like to share with all of you about the camp I'd participated recently..

In YukChai from the 30th August - 1st September..
As expected, I enjoyed myself very much in the camp..
Well, sad to say, this is my 1st Leo camp I've attended since I wasn't there to participate for the last year's LLC..!

Here I am to drop down every single detail I'd went through throughout the 3 days camp :D

Morning, as I slowly and lazily walked out of my room, I brushed my teeth and looked at the clock..It was 6.30..In 2 hours time, I will be in YukChai primary school meeting lotsa new people..That was exactly what happened..I met lotsa new friends and people..The opening ceremony was not so formal as Mak was a hilarious emcee...

Mak : *did the warming up session whereby we have to learn communication skills*
Mak : Now I would like to call upon LION Beatrice to give a speech as an organizing chairperson..*Didn’t realize his mistake by calling her LION instead of LEO*
Mak : Thank you Li…lio…….LEO Beatrice..Now, let’s have LION WeiJing to say a few words..*Repeated his mistake*

Then, it’s time for Ice breaking session..It was abit awkward as most of us did not know each other very well yet..That’s when I get to learn my teammates which is TEAM NUMBER FOUR! (Getherox!)
Ok lah..Lemme elaborate abit more about my group..

Group name: Getherox
Consist of : 10 members
Members: Daniel Lim (leader), Lisa, Samantha, Grace, Sujeet, Yi Zhian(sad to say but till today I could not remember his name although I tried very hard to remember..Weird..Hope his name was spelled correctly though), Daarshawnee, Deborah, Jasmine and last but not least, MYSELF XP

We played a few team-building games that require skills,brains and team work..Lion Clayton’s activities were somewhat interesting and meaningful..I leant a lot from him..Which is to trust your organization and not to doubt on other people..Give the new people chances, isn’t it?! :D

Then, here we are to do everything together in a group..I found out that I was in G1..Girls room number one..Well, thank god I had Deborah and Bernice with me there..Both slept beside me..So I would bump into any if I am not careful enough at night (you know what I mean?) XP

There’s this paper game whereby we have to fold it into half each stage..It is scary because most of the we ain’t very balance on the paper together..So we might fall anytime..Nevertheless, there are boys in the group, so yeah, a bit awkward in a way because it is a bit touchy to get ourselves balanced..Anyhow, I shall thank our group leader, Daniel Lim for trying his best to get all of us up the newspaper :D

Day1 mostly filled with team-building and ice breaking kind of session! At night, sad to say but I was bullied by one of the PJI’s member namely ChongSheng..Sorry, I cant resist to reveal him for being the evil man at that period of time..*muahaha* Guess what he did? He insisted that the Hot cup mee belongs to the committee and participants are not allowed to take it..(I listened to Fion and she said that we’re allowed to do so) And then, I was confused, whether to take or not..Because that meanie MunSuet says that it belongs to the committee as well..I ended up putting the hot cup back..Thanks to ChongSheng for scaring me off..Till I realized it was just a prank.. Since then, I begun differentiating him as the PJI member and I, as the participant in purpose.. I did not do him a favour because I claimed that he’s the PJI member and not the participant.. XP I slept well that night as I was quite sleepy..Deborah and I actually shared some little dirty secrets before getting to bed too..!

Then …….Day2! On this very day, I get to know more new committees..To be more specific, I was closer to Fion and MunSuet in this camp..GIRLS maaa!! Don’t really talk much to the boy’s committees though..But I gotta admit that they are Super Hilarious!

We had talks by Lion Ivan, Lion Clarence (if I am not mistaken), Lion Clayton, Leo Choong Fu and Leo Mak..Left anybody out?? Anyway, during Mak’s session, I leant how to know myself and also learnt how to communicate and understand other people’s feeling..From there, I knew ZerHann too..One of the hilarious participant…
We had treasure hunt arranged by Jason, water game (was a blast), galah panjang VS pji (which is not fair at all because the whole gang was “made” of boys..haha) and not forgetting BBQ night..BBQ was so-so but fun in a way that I get to learn how to BBQ myself..I desperately wanted to eat watermelon because I was constipating..I was unlucky enough not to get any because the committees once again claimed that the watermelon belongs to them..This time, no joke..*BIG Sighhhh*
Then it was time for our performance..

Assunta: With our very very very very very LAST MINUTE work, it turned out well..We did games and also a little small cheer for the ending..Due to the amount of people Taman Petaling had (two people ONLY), we decided to merge our performance..Kimmie! All the best to you! I am sure you can be another good leader that leads people to the right path! :D

DJ : Hip Hop dance..I salute them for being very dedicated throughout the camp trying to practice and get their dance perfect..Although I could see Adrian and JunWen struggled to make their steps better..Well done to Samantha and KahYee though..Nice moves..

TmnSea: Three simple words to praise their sketch…LAUGH OUT LOUD…I can’t help laughing at that two gays in that sketch..(Nicole by Zerhann and Isabella by NicholasChin) Guys with big boobs…! OMG!

We had love tunnel and Night walk by the PJI after that..Love tunnel was scary because I dowanna get caught..And thank god I did not get caught..Efficient and fast enough to get out of the tunnel on time XP And from the Night walk, I get to know two extra friends, mainly JunHsien and Nigel (evil enough not to reveal his name during the session, but I was lucky because JunHsien accidentally called his name..Muahaha)..Apparently, JunHsien did not recognize me (met in I-challenge before), and so he was curious to know *how the heck did I know him before that camp itself* hahaha…

From here, the bond between Fion and I became closer too..We used to talk very little in MSN but not now anymore..She is like my Dai Ka Che who takes care of little penguin like me..tee hee..


Day3..In the morning, I couldn’t sleep due to the sweat which was flowing down my skin beneath the sleeping bag..I woke up to turned the fan on assuming that one of the girls in my room turned it off because they couldn’t stand the cold..How wrong my guess was, it was the committee who turned it off in purpose..Just because they want to get us out of the room..In conclusion, their mission failed because non went out! So they made another huge plan by telling us there was an emergency..Slowly, lazy-ly, forcefully, we walked out of the room – BLURRED! They told us to blindfold ourselves..That was our 1st activity for the day…We were asked to walk around the school, blindfolded…..! Holding each other of course..In front of me was Grace and at the back of me was JiaXin..

I was a little annoyed because the people at the front from Grace onwards walked very fast, and the people at the back from JiaXin onwards walked very slow..Bascially, I was split into two trying to catch up with the front people when the people at the back refrained me from doing so..Thank god, there was a few kind and understanding committees who took over grace and led me through the right way – slowly! I don’t know who they are though..If only I know, I would surely go to that person and say ARIGATO! Hahax…Some naughty committees also disturbed the participants by poking us with satay stick, putting a scary ringtone, tickling us, blow our ears..Practically, anything that they could think of to annoy the participants ....I kinda enjoyed myself during that activity..Because I was impressed with the beautiful ending although we were forced to wake up at 5am!!

We were asked to lie down on the floor and take the cloth out..To my surprise, I see twinkling stars filling the sky!!!!!!!! To fill myself with sudden wonder or amazement, I was seriously astonished by the view of that morning…Thanks to the committee for giving me this lovely opportunity and experience lying down on the floor, relaxed while enjoying the stars because sad to admit, that was my very 1st time appreciating the stars…The camp almost ended..I was reluctant to leave…But once again, I enjoyed myself because we cracked all kinds of Lame jokes together (Assuntarians,DJians during lunch and the committees)..Mainly the both JasonS, Jack, Fion, MunSuet, Eric, and we, the Assuntarians laughed our ass off during the meals because of these COOL LAME JOKES!!!! They lightened up my day ya know?? By chance, let’s crack more in the future :D

With that, we ended our camp with a photo session!! Another memorable camp to remember for life!!
